Sandwiches

A real man can make his own damn sandwich. With that being said, if a lady were to make me a sandwich of her own volition I'd be very thankful. Sandwiches do not just spontaneously assemble themselves, it takes care and understanding (bread goes on the outside, bacon is sacred, lettuce is cool, etc), not to mention decisive reasoning and motor functions intricate enough to apply just the right ratio of peanut butter to jam; or likewise mayo to mustard. Sandwiches are a symbol: There is deliciousness in order, but without effort and will, they are unrendered comprehensions. This applies to most things, but the day the hoagie goes rogue, the club is dethroned, and the submarine gets deep six'd, is the day mankind itself will fall. Thank the women in your life for the sandwiches they make for you, or nut up and butter your own bread.

Ren Academy Records has now moved to Syracuse NY

That's right folks, we've moved our base of operations to the bustling city of Syracuse. The last few weeks have been hectic because of the move, but there have been some great developments since then. RAR is now in the business of professional sound recording, both studio and live, as well as photography, merch design, promotion, booking, and advertising. You want it, we got it, inquire within ;D

Lets all go to the movies

Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I've made a post. I've been taking my time getting the graphic novel in order so that when I launch the project on www.kickstarter.com (the place where dreams come true ;D) I can pipeline my thumbnails, lines,color and writing in a timely fashion. I won't say much about the meat of the book at this point, but I will say that the project will focus on 9 sub plots that merge and diverge as the story unfolds. Thanks to everyone for their support, especially the lady behind Anathema. Check her out over on kickstarter and give her your cash dollars! >:D

Recently I met another horror fan (she's from Slovenia :D) and since I started talking with her and Ms. Deering, it's dawned on me that I don't have enough classic horror under my belt. For being an avid lover of all manners of subculture, there are a staggering number of movies, comics, and books that just haven't had the opportunity to get around to. I'm taking an effing stand! >:D

Today is going to be a movie day! Netflix will be on until I pass out tonight, and it's my hope that I can cover 3 horror classics before succumbing. To twist my own arm into checking a few of the good ones off of my 'big-ass-movie list', I will post my reviews as I complete them. If all goes well I'll post more reviews in the future :)

In other news, the music is coming along swimmingly. I have 12 tracks mapped out for the new album, several of them have no lyrics as of late, but if I stay going at this rate, I should have the album out before fall hits!
